Podcast #54: The "STOP MAKING EXCUSES" Episode

Ever heard the saying "energy flows where attention goes?"

Deep shit, eh? ;)

And speaking of energy, this week's Patreon prize is a bottle of THE best stimulant-free, energy boosting formula available.  And it's the one by Performance Lab of course.  Click here if you want a chance to win it.  And HERE if you'd rather just order your own.

But anywho, back to "energy flows where attention goes."  Just think about that phrase for a minute.  And ponder its meaning whilst you stare at that giant photo of me pumping breast milk on a recumbent bike...

I dunno about you, but to me, it means either making priorities or making excuses.  And I say this to people all the time.

If you really want something in life, you will find a way.  If not, you will find an excuse.

As a vegan trainer and nutrition coach, I definitely hear all kinds of excuses all the time as to why my clients can't follow through with their vegan bodybuilding diet and workout programs.

And hey-- let's face it-- we are ALL (myself included) very good at making excuses to rationalize our lack of action for hitting goals or more importantly, for not getting what we truly want out of life.

Sure, we're all busy.  And as a new mom, if there's anyone who can sympathize with the whole "I don't have time" excuse, it's me right now!

But I still believe that it all boils down to not MAKING time for those so-called "tasks" to be priorities!  We ALL have 24 hours in a day.  And how we spend those 24 hours is how we define our priorities.  So if you’re using the whole “I don’t have time” excuse, that's all fine and good.  But what you really should be saying is that you’re not willing to MAKE the time for it.

So what are your biggest excuses for not getting shit done?

Ponder that one for a moment .  And in the meantime, listen to this "mindful meathead" edition of the Jacked on the Beanstalk Podcast!  Enjoy!
